PARIS. The exhibition The Radiance of the Italian Renaissance will showcase 20 tapestries whose models were given by three great artists of the Renaissance, Raphael (Urbino 1483 - Rome 1520), Giovanni da Udine (Udine 1487 - Rome around 1564) and Giulio Romano (Rome 1499-Mantua 1546). Almost all tapestries are from the collection of King Louis XIV. Three are acquisitions of Musée des Gobelins in the late nineteenth century.
