DUBAI. The first SIKKA Art Fair was inaguarted by Shaikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) on 12 March.
A first of its kind, SIKKA celebrates the artworks of Emirati and local artists at Al Bastakiya and opened doors for visitors, students and art enthusiasts to actively engage with the local artist community through discussions, in addition to dedicated art workshops to be held over the nine-day event.
