Selected works from the
38th Annual Fine Arts Exhibition

Albareh Art Gallery is presenting a show titled “Diversity from the Arab World”. “The concept behind the show is to expose different

modes of expressions that are available in this region and introduce some new artists and talents to Bahrain audience”, said Hayfa

Aljishi. It will shed light on the diversity of Contemporary Art Movement in the Arab world and highlight the differences. The works

presented will have a contemporary edge and will include a mix of paintings, photography, sculptures as well as video art.

The Exhibition will start on the 4^th of March and will run until the 4^th of April and it will be at the Albareh Art Gallery. The official

opening will be at 7 p.m.

Albareh Art Gallery is open Saturdays through Thursdays, from 10.00 am - 1.00 pm and from 4.00 to 8.00 pm. The exhibitions opening

will be at 7.00 and until 9.30 pm.

abcad introduces the works of Maja Soric who is a Jewellery and accessory designer based in Egypt. Maja Soric works resemble

sculptures in their forms and are inspired from her western background as a Croatian and from the Eastern Culture as she has been

living in Cairo for a long time. The designs combine the rigidity of the West and the warmth of the East. The artist will also be

presenting a talk whereby she will talk about her works and Jewellery design.

The Exhibition will start on the 18^th of March and will run until the 31^st of March and it will be at abcad.

abcad is open Saturdays through Thursdays, from 10.00 am - 1.00 pm and from 4.00 to 8.00 pm. The exhibitions opening will be at

7.00 and until 9.30 pm.
