Bahrain Formative Arts Society.
2005 Participated in the Modern Art Exhibition organized by the
Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland in Dublin.
Participated in an exhibition in Paris organized by the Bahraini Embassy in Paris on the occasion
of Bahrain’s National Day.
2004 Participated in a Dual Exhibition with Sh. Rashid Al-Khalifa at the Hamburg State House in
Berlin, Germany (Jan 13 -Feb 28).
2009 Held a Solo Exhibition at the Courtyard Exhibition in Bahrain ( 7-26 Nov).
Held a Solo Exhibition at the annual Doha Cultural Festival (March 9 - 19).
2004 Held a Solo Exhibition during the Conference of Culture of Bahraini Women, in Sharjah, U.A.E.,
organized by the Supreme Council for Women of Bahrain (3-5 April).
2002 Held her first solo exhibition at Al-Riwaq Gallery in Bahrain in October
Participated in the Symposium of the Second Assembly of Formative Artists at Al-Kheyyam
Prison Camp in South Lebanon (April).
Participated in the Symposium for Painting and Sculpture at Aalay, Raas Almitin, and
Ehden in Lebanon.
Participated in a rotating exhibition in Europe (Greece, France, and Spain) entitled, "Breaking
the Barrier: Women Artists from the Islamic World,” organized by the Royal Society of Fine Arts
in Jordan.

Participated in the International Council for Women in the Arts exhibition in Washington, DC
entitled “Forces of Change: Artists of the Arab World”. The exhibition started at the
National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington D.C. and toured many states for a period
of two years.

Formative Arts.
Merit Award for membership in the Judge’s Committee for the 2nd Youth Salon in
Doha, Qatar.
1976, 1997, 2001, 2007 Merit Award at the annual Formative Arts Exhibition of the
Ministry of Information in Bahrain
2002 Awarded the Dana Prize (highest award) at the 31st annual Formative Arts Exhibition of the
Ministry of Information in Bahrain for the second time.
1999 Awarded the Dana Prize (highest award) at the 27st annual Formative Arts Exhibition of the
Ministry of Information in Bahrain.
1996 Awarded the Golden Leaf Prize at the Kuwait Biennial for GCC countries.
1992, 1994, 2000 Received a Gold Medal from the Bahrain Children & Mothers Welfare Society on the occasion International Volunteer Day.
